My tea this morning is a loose leaf of off-white, tans, oranges and brown. I hesitate to say leaf because it is a blend of tiny cubed dried fruits: apple, pineapple, papaya, cranberries and hibiscus. It has a sweet sugary smell. Steeped, the tea has no odour and is almost colourless. This Caribbean Crush tea is a soft and fruity sip.
If we were having coffee tea, I wouldn’t have a lot to share with you this week. It has been an uneventful week of work, chores, and parenting. Nothing exciting or over the top. I make and eat some cupcakes that were themed for The Ember Stone.

If we were having coffee tea, I would share with you I am reading Inheritance by Christopher Paolini. It is book four in The Inheritance Cycle. I had read the first three books several years ago and planned to read book four, but was waiting for its release. My younger son took an interest in Eragon, so I thought it was time to pick up my copy of book four. So, that covers what I am reading. I am writing chapter eighteen in book two, with a goal to finish it before bedtime on Sunday night. I am watching the television series Lost. And I have moved on to a new puzzle. I finished the Star Wars puzzle.
If we were having coffee tea, I would pass you the pot and sit back to listen. How was your week?

Hi Shari,
Your tea sounds intriguing even if no actual tea was involved. I’ve tried several herbals and fruity creations and I like several – but find that I mostly prefer actual tea. I think it’s like the coffee dependency so many of my family and friends have only not as strong.
I really do love, sitting and writing or reading with a tall mug of black or flavored-black tea to start my mornings.

Well, two cup of caffeine is all I allow myself so that’s when the herbal tea kicks in. Coffee and a book is my favourite as well.

That tea sounds amazing, I’d love to have a cup with you. I received as couple new teas that I have not tried yet as gifts this week. I am looking forward to try them. I have tea almost every day, and I often use green tea, or herbal teas in my smoothies. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend, and thank you so much for the tea.

Using green tea in smoothies was a tips in a smoothie book I recently purchased. I’ve tried it in many different types of smoothies now, both with vegetables and fruit/berries, it is wonderful!
