This year at Brewing Coffee, Twisting Words & Breaking Pencils my theme is “this year I am writing a novel.” So, in light of that I decided to try and keep to the theme a bit with my A to Z topic. I decided on using writing words that start with each letter of the alphabet to create short posts.

I – Ink Slinger

Claudia left the room for only a very short time and when she returned she was sorry that she had. The room was covered in various coloured splotches of ink. Fae, Patsy, and Snicker stood staring at her. Their eyes bulging with surprising knowing that they hand been caught with ink in hand. Their tiny tear shaped bodies were so splattered with the ink they had been throwing that they no longer looked like the mischievous naked brownies they were.
“Naughty little ink slingers,” Claudia admonished.

Brownies do get into mischief if left on their own, don’t they?

Yes they do. They are somewhat like my kids, haha.

It reminds me of those videos when parents have the same experience going into a room that their children painted all over 🙂
