I started drafting this list on my 37th birthday. You can view the original post: HERE. I was inspired by a couple of other bucket lists I was creating during the BlogAhead challenge. I created and posted this list in 2017. Over the years, I have updated it a few times. Now here we are with me checking off part of the list’s number 50—reposting at 45. It’s interesting to see how things have changed. I wondered as I reviewed the list, what makes a bucket list successful? Is it actually completing every item on the list or is being happy with the things you have accomplished, whether on the list or not, and acknowledging that things change and we change too?

Interesting list and quite a few ticked off. Do the Scotland trip (and visit a castle) right away – you won’t regret it 😉
I do not have a bucket list (can’t time travel, so no 50 before 50 list), but there are things I am shooting for.

Visiting a castle is definitely part of that trip. I’m considering one of those scheduled trips were you stay at different hotels/bed breakfasts and all the sightseeing is planned. I like the tour that visits Scotland, Ireland, and England. I am also a fan of the book series “Outlander” and wouldn’t mind seeing a few of those tourist spots.
I suspect there will be items on my list I do after 50 and that’s okay. Titling it “50 before 50” has a fun ring to it.
Thanks for stopping in, Trent. And I recall your birthday is this month, so happy earlier birthday.
