Pies and Donuts

I’m on a pie and donut coffee flavour stretch and today is no different. The brand of my java is Bean around the World. The flavour is . . .

The smell of cinnamon battles a sweet fruity or perhaps it’s a floral smell. It not overwhelming. The combination creates an appley bouquet. I move the mug to my lips, not sure what to expect. My initial thought is that it tastes a bit watery and green. Can coffee taste green? It’s the green of green apples with a tart after taste. The flavour is apple pie, Apple Pie flavoured coffee.

If we were having coffee, I would start by sharing a picture of my latest puzzle. It’s Alice in Wonderland which is one of my favourites. I have second Alice that I did a while back but I don’t think I shared a picture of it. I’m going to re-due it and share a picture at some point.

If we were having coffee, I would remind you to watch for the image below in your WordPress feed because that A-to-Z starts tomorrow. I hope you will get a chance to visit some of my posts. If you stop in as a participant, please leave a link to your blog so I can return the visit.

If we were having coffee, my proofreading class started this week. I need to get myself into a homework routine. I’m looking forward to applying some of the tips and tricks to my own writing. The course has already changed my view on the roles and responsibilities of a proofreader.

If we were having coffee, I would share that Chimera and Curses is now available for purchase. I’m really happy with how the “From the Publisher” section turned out on the Amazon sales page. The banner image is going to be one that connects the whole series together. So, for the lined journal. It looks that this.

If we were having coffee, I would share that last Saturday I had an electronics ban in my house. It was brilliant. We worked on the puzzle, played board games, watched a documentary on volcanoes, and ended the night with a movie. My younger son joined a crib club at school, so he asked to play crib and it was so much fun. My step-father taught me to play, and it was his and my thing to do together. I haven’t played in years so I enjoyed playing with my younger son a lot. Great memories.

Well, virtual coffee friends here’s the coffee pot. How was your week?

  1. Loving the Weekend Coffee Shares! And I agree, I also really like you banner. Great job on the puzzle as well! I have a toddler and 7mo so those pieces would be lost to oblivion if I tried to put one together! Haha

    1. Thanks for stopping in Alexandra and thank you for the kind words. I remember the toddler days. My boys are 9 and 11 now so most days the puzzle pieces are safe, but there are still times when they get a bit too rowdy and we have to search the floor for pieces they sent flying. I have a puzzle board that closes up for the 1000-piece puzzles, which helps too.

      Have a great weekend.
