A cheesecake fantasy coffee, is that even a thing? Cold Stone Creamery says yes, and I say that I just ran a pod of it through my Keurig. The smell of it reminds me of the chocolate-covered maraschino cherries that can be found in stores around Christmas. It’s sweet and fruity with undertones of something that I’m struggling to name. Possibly vanilla. The taste is surprisingly bitter. Not unpleasant, it’s a smooth bitterness. The flavour comes in the aftertaste. A lingering hint of cherry that’s both earthy and burnt. Overall, it is an interesting cup of coffee.
If we were having coffee, start by sharing my picture contribution to the Photographing Public Art Challenge (PPAC). The PPAC is a fun addition to our beloved Weekend Coffee Share. The colourful truck is part of the decorative scenery at The Vibrant Vine Winery in Kelowna, Bristish Columbia. This winery boasts wine, art, and sound. If you click the link, I have set it up to take you to their art gallery images – Beautiful Colours.

If we were having coffee, I would explain that I don’t have a lot to report this week. It was a status quo kind of week.
If we were having coffee, I would share that my boys and I have a Harry Potter movie marathon planned for the weekend. They really haven’t been interested in the books or movies, but when I suggested a late-night marathon with treats, they were all over it. So, we start tonight and hope to finish Saturday. Sunday we are going to start dragging the Christmas decorations out.
Here is the coffee pot. How was your week?

Weekend Coffee Share is hosted by Natalie the Explorer. I hope you have a chance to join us for a virtual cup. Coffee share #97 or week 47 of 54.
What’s not to love about a family movie marathon? ❤️
Wish I’d thought of that when they were all still here.

It gets hard to get everyone together for family functions of any sort as we get older. Schedules are so wild . . .
Thanks for stopping in Gary. Hope you have a great weekend.

I LOVED the Harry Potter books. I’ve only seen one of the movies. Maybe that’d be a good winter goal💜 Have a great weekend 💜

Hi Shari – I read PPAC being mentioned on Marsha’s blog and wondered what it was – now I know. I always enjoy seeing the colourful public art that people share – and Natalie always seems to find new ones for her posts. Enjoy Harry Potter.

I searched for Coldstone coffee thanks to your mention and found the Birthday Cake Remix! I must now try the other flavors! How fun, I watched a bit of one of the HP movies a few days ago, not sure if it would be my thing or not. But a movie marathon with the fam always sounds like memories in the making!
