This year at Brewing Coffee, Twisting Words & Breaking Pencils my theme is “this year I am writing a novel.” So, in light of that I decided to try and keep to the theme a bit with my A to Z topic. I decided on using writing words that start with each letter of the alphabet to create short posts.

Q – Quill-Driver

The hollow sharp quill is long and stiff in my hand. It feels foreign to work with. Committing words to paper is a tedious process of ink dips, appropriate writing angle and pressure as well as time spent waiting for the sand to soak up the excess ink. Yet, the words control me and like a soul possessed they drive me to set down another story…
