Amo el café!

Amo el café! ʖ Amas el caféʔ Welcome to weekend coffee share!

There is nothing like the smell of fresh hot coffee and the comforting warmth of that hot brew snuggled in your hands. Slow lazy sips of that delicious deep brown liquid make for a great start to the day.

If we were having coffee I would tell you that it has been a while since my Spanish class ended and I haven’t followed up with my practice as well as I would have liked. So, now that I have Netflix I found a telenovela to watch. I have only watched one episode so far but I really enjoyed it. I am watching “La Reina del Sur.” If we were having coffee I would share with you that I am thinking of adding a Spanish word of the week to my coffee share and maybe I will even try to use it in a sentence. This week’s Spanish word of the week is el rompecabezas.

Amo los rompecabezas. I love Puzzles.

That said some of you might remember that I started a puzzle recently. I am still slowly working through it but I only get a little bit of time to enjoy it on the weekend.

If we were having coffee I would ask you about your week as I pour us both another hot drink.

  1. Oh I LOVE your puzzle!! The colors are wonderful and it looks hard but that’s the fun of it, you’ll have to keep sharing your progression as the puzzle comes together. I’ve done some really pretty puzzles in years past. Did you know they make puzzle glue? I was so into puzzles I always wanted to make one then glue it together and hang it for display. After all that hard work and all! 😃 But I never did, so not sure how good they look glued together!

Good idea with the Spanish words to keep up so you don’t forget and keep learning! Thank you for the delicious coffee! Love your description of sipping, yummy! ❤️

    1. Yes, I was hoping my boys would maybe be interested in a space or dinosaur puzzle that we could glue and hang in their rooms after. So, far they haven’t been interested. Thanks for stopping in. Have a great weekend.

  2. I used to love sitting with my wife, puzzling our way through the nights after completing any college work we had. But that was before a real job, kids, Kindles and blogging/writing.
What have we done to ourselves. . . ?

  3. Love the colors in the puzzle! I have a friend whose dining room table is set up for puzzles and I recently saw a table made for it! The table is a bit recessed and has a cover that goes over top so you can keep your puzzle intact when using the table for other things.. Thanks for the coffee and have a great week!
