Marlboro – A Ladies Favorite

It was evident that she had been here and not very long ago either. There was still a faint stream of smoke rising from the ashtray and that smoky scent was mixed with that sickeningly thick smell of perfume. The odour was a hard reminder of that laugh, an evil hoarse cackle that spread across her tight dry skin. It is amazing her face doesn’t actually crack with the strain her laughter. The hunt was real and I would catch her. One day I would stop being just a shadow; when my light falls upon her she cease to exist.
