Yawn, stretch and come alive.
The birds are chirping, the sun is shining and somewhere close by there is a woodpecker busy at work. It is a wonderful morning to wake up to! You can understand why the children are eager to get to the park, so armed with a hot coffee you follow a short distance behind them across the dirt road from the campsite to the park. You slide onto a picnic table bench and survey the blue sky. The sounds of the children are a pleasant and happy background noise. While they are busy playing you are free to observe and enjoy a hot cup of coffee. It is the perfect coffee setting.

If we were having coffee I would tell you that I am glad that the weekend is here. There wasn’t really anything particularly miserable about the week but it just felt long. My work load wasn’t overly strenuous and the weather was dull and rainy so I think that played a big factor. So bring on the sun (fingers crossed) and let the weekend begin!
If we were having coffee I would tell you that July’s theme is flash fiction. I would invite you to pop in throughout the month and to participate in the theme.

How was your week?

No, I don’t think I will participate in NaNoWriMo this year. I had been thinking about it but I don’t think I will be organized enough.
