Coffee and Good Days

“Mental health is defined as a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community” (WHO) Everybody has a bad day, but have you ever wondered how to keep good days coming? Well, one way is through connections: healthy relationships. So, here we are ready to enjoy a tea or hot coffee together. Let’s walk, talk and sip our hot beverages. Exercise is so important for overall health (mental health included). Last time we had coffee together we talked a bit about mindfulness so let’s incorporate that into our stroll today. It is such a nice time of the year for sights and sounds outdoors. I want to take a minute and thank you for coming out today, it is so nice to have company…

If we were having coffee I would tell you that replaced a couple of light fixtures this week and I am very happy with the new ones. The picture below shows our new ones.

If we were having coffee I would tell you that I finished book 12, The Gathering Storm, in the Wheel of Time series. This was the first one with Brandon Sanderson and Robert Jordan listed as the authors. I really enjoyed it. It was probably one of my favourites in the series. Two more novels to go, but they are a bit of an intimidating size so we will see how quickly I get through them. However, before I start reading book 13 I am going to read “Chakras Made Easy” by Anodea Judith because I am doing a bit of research for a larger piece of writing that I am working on.
