The roasted coffee beans are ready for tasting this morning. The pungent scent is heavy in the air and it is a mechanic motion that guides me through the actions of getting a mug and settling into a comfy spot with my hot black walnut coloured liquid.
If we were having coffee I would say that my letter E sums up our coffee date today. Six days of the A – Z challenge are behind us and I think it is going well. I did note that I had some scheduling difficulty and I had set them to post while I was out of the country so I missed it until earlier this week. So I had 2 posts go up on the 30th and one should have been for the 31st. The result of that mix up was that my Letter A posted on March 31 and B posted on April 1. Shoot. I think things are sorted out and back on track now though. In addition to all that I apologize because I haven’t had a lot of time to visit other posts. I also wanted to share a few of my favourites but I wasn’t that organized this week.
If we were having coffee I would tell you that we surprised the boys with a spring break trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. We actually returned to the resort that we got married at all those years ago. It was a lot of fun. However, I am exhausted in the wake of it and glad that it is the weekend.
Vacation provided me with a bit of reading time and I had the chance to finish Janet Evanovich’s book 24 in the Stephanie Plum Series: Hardcore Twenty-four. I really enjoy the series because it always makes me laugh. I also had time to start another Janet Evanovich series, the Fox and O’Hare Series that is written with Lee Goldberg. I am about ¾ of the way into it and I am really enjoying it as well. I will probably continue with the series (after a brief return to The Wheel of Time Series).
If we were having coffee I would ask you how your week went? If we were having coffee I would ask how you are finding the A to Z challenge so far and if you have any A to Z links you might want to share?
