I’m thankful for those moments when the day fades away. Those moments where that tiny child rolls onto his side snuggled close after story time, his little body already radiating the heat of sleep, and the rhythmic breath of a sleeper is all that can be heard in the dusky room. The comfort of your presence is all he needs to make his day complete and as you watch that little person who is so carefree, so full of curiosity, trust and love the whole day just fades away in that precious parenting moment.
