You will receive a PDF write-up with pictures of your reading. Each reading includes a soul card and a clarifying card besides the spread. I will return your email with an estimated timeline and any clarifying questions I have about your reading. Turnaround times vary depending on my schedule and the number of readings in the queue. I aim to complete and email your reading within one month. Once you transfer the payment, I will start your reading.

The decks I use may vary. I use an intuitive process when selecting decks for a reading. These are not the only spreads I use. The following information gives some details about each spread to decide. As you consider how you want to proceed, remember that great questions help give a reading context and make it feel personal; if you pose a question that is missing the mark, I will adjust when I speak to the cards.

2-Card Spreads

This kind of spread is handy if you are feeling stuck and aren’t sure why. Consider it a snapshot of tension and balance. Two-card spreads are very flexible, but they work best when a specific question is posed instead of a general reading. Some questions:

• Attract/release: What is the pattern underneath this situation?
• Situation/challenge: What am I not seeing clearly yet?
• What do I need to hear, and what don’t I want to hear?
• What is in alignment? What is out of alignment?
• What part of me is thriving, and what needs support?
• What about my creativity scares me? What about it excites me?
• What truth can I set free? How will this upset me?

3-Card Spreads

You can learn a lot from a three-card reading. The past, present, and future spread is a common three-card spread, or its variants, such as mind, body, and spirit. However, there are lots of options for answering questions with three tarot cards. A spread I enjoy using from Guided Tarot for Seamless Readings is called “The Advice from the Universe Spread.” It provides insight into what you need to know, a new perspective, and an action to take.

4-Card Spreads

Four card readings provide a bit of a story, but not enough to become confusing. For example, the cards provide a framework for the situation, challenge, guidance, and next steps. One spread I use is from Tarot for Light Seers: “Starlit Dream Spread.” This spread uses a signifier card and provides insight into how to move forward, a message, and an action to take.

Tarot is notorious for telling you, the sitter, what you need to hear, not what you want to hear, and so you consider that.

It depends on what you’re looking for. If you have a specific question or situation you’d like to explore, a focused reading may be the best fit. However, if you’re not sure what you want to ask or would like to see what comes through, a general reading is a great place to start. If you’re still unsure, reach out, and I can help you choose the reading that best fits what you’re looking for.

The number of cards determines how much we can explore. A 2-card reading is ideal for a focused question or quick insight, while 3 cards allow for a little more context and perspective. A 4-card reading gives us the most space to explore the situation in greater depth and make connections between the cards.

Can I ask a specific question?
Absolutely! Specific questions can help give your reading a clear focus. You can ask about a particular situation, decision, relationship, area of your life, or anything else you’d like insight into. Rather than giving a simple yes-or-no prediction, we can use the cards to explore the energies, influences, possibilities, and guidance surrounding your question.

What happens after I order?
I will email you a confirmation that I’ve received your order and provide you with a timeline for your reading.

How long does a reading take?
Turnaround times vary depending on my schedule and the number of readings in the queue. As such, I will provide you with an estimated timeline for your reading when you email me. However, I aim to complete your reading in less than one month from the date I receive your payment.

Can I ask about another person?
Yes, you can ask about another person, but I don’t read into someone else’s private energy, thoughts, or feelings. Instead, I can focus on your connection with them, what you may experience, and what you can take away from the situation.

Do you offer general readings?
Yes! You don’t need a specific question, though it can help to come with an intention or an area of life you’d like to explore. From there, we can see what the cards bring forward. A general reading is open, allowing exploration of themes, energies, and areas of your life that may be asking for your attention right now.

Do tarot readings predict the future?
Tarot doesn’t predict a fixed future. Instead, it offers insight into the energies, patterns, and possibilities surrounding you and your situation. What you choose to do with that insight is always up to you.
