Welcome to the twenty-first book review of fifty-three. As you know, I used to provide freelance book reviews to several review companies. It was a great experience that introduced me to new authors and their wonderful books. Each week this year, I’m opening my Weekend Coffee shares with a link to a review I’ve provided. Reviews are three stars or higher. The genres range from picture books to fiction and nonfiction titles.

If we were having coffee, I would share that the weather has been lovely. The other night, the sky was a crazy colour. So, I took a few pictures. This reminds me. Last weekend, Sammi Cox’s Weekend Writing prompt was storm (53 words). You can check out my response to the prompt here: Short-lived (violent) weather disturbance.

If we were having coffee, I would share the link to The Prairie Book Review for Dug Up. This novel will be available for purchase on June 26, 2026. So, it’s getting close.
If we were having coffee, I would share that later today (Friday), I have a vendor booth at a local Fun Fair. I’m excited, but a bit nervous too, because this is my first time participating in an event like this. For those of you who follow me on social media, I will share pictures before the weekend is over.
Here is the coffee bean grinder; how was your week? Please leave the link to your coffee share in the comment section below.

I hope your event goes well, Shari. How exciting! I like your idea of having a link to the reviews you’ve written each week. That gives them a little extra viewing, and it’s great for the authors, too. I just learned from another visit on Natalie’s Weekend Coffee Share that there is a lady who hosts a link party for book reviews. I got the link from the top of Junkboat Travel’s post this week. Reader buzz or something like that.

I’m always interested in what other people think of what they’re reading. So, that gave me the idea to start with book review information. Thank you for the tip about Reader Buzz on Junkboat Travel’s post; I will check that out.
Hope all is well, Marsha. Happy Sunday.
