Welcome to book review forty-three of fifty-two for this year’s virtual coffee shares. I’ve picked books related to the Brewing Coffee, Twisting Words & Breaking Pencils theme—coffee, books, and puzzles.

Another murder in Pine Hills. As you probably guessed, since I haven’t read book ten, I haven’t read this novel yet either. One thing that makes these books work is that the venue for murder changes. The back-cover matter suggests this murder is related to a marathon.
If we were having coffee, I would share that I have been listening to a masterclass by R.L. Stine, the author of Goosebumps. I now have a desire to write for children aged seven to nine. Eventually, I would also love to write a children’s picture book. I know it’s recommended not to write in multiple genres, but I love writing, and I love so many different genres.

If we were having coffee, I would share that I have an author signing on October 26 at the Belleville Indigo. I will have my newest book, The Funny Side, with me for signing this time.
If we were having coffee, I would share my fall pictures. This fall has been filled with colour!

Happy Saturday, Shari! I hope you have a wonderful book signing! I wish I could pop by and meet you IRL 🙂
Your photos are stunning! We had some color here this year but the weather has been wild so it’s been short-lived.
Have a great weekend!

Thank you, Melissa.
I always feel admiration when people from our coffee share post that they were able to meet in person. Perhaps one day. I’m smiling, imagining a group of us from Coffee Share meeting up and sipping coffee at a blogging conference—are blogging conferences a thing?
It has been a beautiful colour-filled fall.
Happy Saturday.

A solid question! Are blogging conferences still a thing?! What a wonderful way to meet up and spend some time together…off to do some research!

Please, let me know if you find anything. There are so many wonderful people in our coffee share group that would be fun to sit with and sip coffee outside the virtual world.

Beautiful pictures. I kinda missed the leaves changes as I live too far south.
