A to Z Blogging

Divulging Subject Matter

April is approaching fast, so the A-to-Z blogging challenge is gearing up. This is my eight-year taking part in the challenge. Here are my previous year’s themes:

2017 – Raising Boys
2018 – Flash Fiction
2019 – Six Word Stories
2020 – Photo prompts
2021 – Writing Words
2022 – One Hundred Word Posts
2023 – Book Reviews

Coffee and words—writing, reading, editing, reviewing—are things that drive my life and Brewing Coffee, Twisting Words & Breaking Pencils. They are things I enjoy and find relaxing. So, with that in mind, I aimed for a theme that fit with that. However, I still wanted to try something different. My 2024 A-to-Z theme is puzzles. I love puzzles and often share images of the ones I complete. I like to pick jigsaw images that have a fun vibe to them. For me, puzzling is relaxing. So, with all that in mind, I thought it would make a fun theme.

I hope to see you April 1 for Letter A of the challenge.

  1. I am not participating in that challenge, but I think your theme is a great one. It’s a word that can be intercepted in many ways, and written about from many angles. If you think about it, you could relate it to almost everything in life. Most days in my life sure is a puzzle with many pieces that needs to be put together in a somewhat logical order. Best of luck with your writing.

    1. I am aiming for simple and easy with this year’s challenge. My goal is to participate but honour the time/schedule crunch of other responsibilities as well. Thank you for leaving your link; I am heading your way now.

    1. I find puzzles to be a bit addictive. So, when I pack them up for the summer months I feel a bit sad about it. So, I understand your excitement about having some puzzle time and space, Jayden. Thanks for stopping in.

  3. I love jigsaw puzzles! I even have an app for puzzles when I’m unable to do one physically, due to space or other reasons. Looking forward to seeing your posts!
