Would you rather drink stale coffee or cold coffee?
Would you rather have coffee in a can (like pop) or coffee in a box (like some wines)?
For years, I suffered from being a mom and finishing a cup of hot coffee. The result was that I would often finish my Java cold so I’m okay with cold coffee, but stale coffee, I’d rather not drink. Coffee in a can versus coffee in a box makes me smile and I would drink either. So, for me, the question becomes which option would be more fun. I would rather have my coffee from a box because I think it would be fun; I drink pop from the can occasionally, but I drink nothing from a box.
If we were having coffee, I would share a picture of my latest puzzle accomplishment. It’s on theme with Brewing Coffee, Twisting Words & Breaking Pencils.

If we were having coffee, I would share that the A-to-Z theme reveal will take place on March 10, 2024. It’s wild how fast January and February passed. Anyway, stay tuned for my theme reveal.

If we were having coffee, I would share that I was thinking about how to keep my coffee shares fresh next year. Yes, I said next year. This year I have been opening my weekend coffee posts with coffee-themed “would you rather” questions, which has been fun. However, I don’t think I can come up with another year of Java questions. So, I decided that I’m going to do book reviews next year, but not any book reviews. I am going to read books that are coffee and/or book-themed. So, that’s fifty-three books! I’m starting my book hunt now. It was a would you rather question that I’ll share later in the year that helped me come up with this idea. I’m looking forward to reading some new authors and titles.

That is such a pretty puzzle! Other than juice boxes as a kid I don’t think I have ever had anything else to drink out of a box so that would be a fun option (if I drank coffee).

Haha this “would you rather” is a fun one! I’d rather drink cold coffee than stale, and if that coffee box is the same size as a wine box, then I would surely prefer that over a can! 😂

I’m with you when it comes to coffee, stale coffee is out! I do enjoy cold coffee during hot summer days, but if the coffee in the teachers launch is lukewarm I don’t drink it ..or in desperate times I heat it up in the microwave. It has to be either hot, or cold, lukewarm is a no go for me.

Good point, Maria, lukewarm coffee isn’t my favourite either—it would end up in the microwave for sure.

Cold coffee happens, stale coffee? Nope. Cans or boxes of coffee? That’s why they make water, to avoid those things 😉 Good luck in 53 coffee themed books!

Stale coffee is a no go. I get it. I have found 25 of my 53 titles all listed on a paper.

I had a coworker who made coffee in the Keurig machine and left her cup of coffee for hours. We joke that this is one way to make iced coffee. But she doesn’t like her coffee cold. Everytime she makes coffee she walks away from the machine to check her e-mail. I find it funny but little sad because I’ve seen it with other coworkers time and time again. We get so pre-occupied with work that we can’t chill for a minute to get our cup of coffee?

That is funny, Julie. Thank you for sharing. I agree that we get pre-occupied and perhaps should take those few minutes in a work day to regroup and drink our coffee hot.
