It’s a delightful morning to be drinking a salted caramel cookie-flavoured coffee. Thank you to Cookie Jar Coffee. The scent is sweet, bitter, and salty—my brain registers salted caramel. The taste is smooth and buttery, with a bitter punch at the end. It’s a tasty cup of Java.
If we were having coffee, I would share that we’re watching The Santa Claus for Friday night movie night this week. The first movie. It’s one of my favourites. There might be chocolate-covered pretzels for a snack.

If we were having coffee, I would share with you that Riggs has settled in well. Wow, is he a busy little guy who is very fascinated by the Christmas tree. If Santa doesn’t come to our house, it’ll be because Riggs destroyed the tree. Did I share with you that Riggs came to us litter box trained? I’d never experienced a puppy that uses the litter box, but it has been handy when I miss his cues to go outside because he goes to the litter box instead of messing on the floor.

If we were having coffee, I would share that I posted my final business post for 2023 on Wednesday. It was a book coaching post.
If we were having coffee, I would share with you that if I don’t have time to visit your coffee post on Friday or Saturday, then I won’t be in this week. Sorry! Sunday is a day of cooking and my sister-in-law and her family arrive. I will do my best to visit as many of you as I can before then, though.
If we were having coffee, I would share that on Sunday I plan to start some of my Christmas dinner prep. I’ll be making banana-cranberry bread, cranberry salad, and monster cookies for Santa. I feel like there’s something else I need to do ahead of time, but I don’t have my planner in front of me. In addition, I’m making a marshmallow popcorn recipe to watch the cartoon Grinch on Christmas Eve. This mix has Christmas sprinkles in it and looks tasty and festive.
Happy Holidays.

Weekend Coffee Share is hosted by Natalie the Explorer. I hope you have a chance to join us for a virtual cup.

Happy holidays! I had never heard of a litter trained puppy either but that does sound handy. I just watched The Santa Clause last week; that is one I enjoy re-watching year after year.

We have a couple more Christmas movies to watch that are yearly re-watches for us. There are certain movies that make me laugh every time, and the Santa Claus is one of them.

Riggs is such a cutie! I also have never seen a litter trained pup but that is very handy indeed! Your coffee sounds absolutely delicious as well. Sounds like you’re going to have a lovely family filled Christmas! 🎄 and I absolutely love the elf refueling station!! (I may have to steal that idea from you when I get our own elf)

Jingles wouldn’t be an elf in my house if he didn’t like coffee, haha. Happy holidays, Alexandra. Thanks for stopping in.

If we were having coffee, I’d share with you that I’m boring and don’t like coffee flavours. Just an ordinary latte for me thanks. It’s very unusual that a puppy would like to use the litter box. Enjoy your weekend, I understand that the last couple f days before Christmas can be frantic. Best wishes for a Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Here am I sitting and thinking about getting a puppy, and then you post this adorable little cutie. Litterbox trained? I have never heard of a dog that’s been trained that way, sounds fabulous! A very Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.

I had never heard of litter box training a puppy either. He came from the Breeder trained (8 weeks old). I say litter box, but because he is a bigger breed, it’s a small kid’s sandbox filled with pine-scented pellets.
The Breeder referred to the puppies as “halo and horns.” An accurate description of mischief and cuteness.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Maria.

Riggs is cute, if a handful! I don’t know if I’ve heard of a litter box trained puppy. Makes sense. We use pee pads, which work.
Enjoy your family time! Merry Christmas!

Yes, the litter box thing was new to me too. Riggs came from the Breeder litter box trained, at 8 weeks old. It’s been interesting.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Trent.

Merry Christmas. Those movies sound like good Christmas ones. Maybe I can get around to watching them. I’ve never heard of a litter box trained pup. That would be amazing. That was one reason I waited years to get another pup is because of the potty training that I wouldn’t have time for.

With Riggs coming to us trained to use the litter box it has made things a bit easier. Getting a puppy is a big time commitment and there is so much to teach a pup. Thanks for stopping in. Happy holidays.
