The following review was originally posted on Goodreads: December 17, 2022.

This is my first time reading anything by Natalia Jaster.

My initial impressions from the first few pages were of sisters, bonds, trials and tribulations. I love the originality of the sisters’ names: Lark, Juniper, and Cove. I would describe Lark as a character designed of rough edges which made her intriguing. I was reminded of aspects of the movie Labyrinth by Jim Henson a couple of times, especially in relation to Cerulean. Overall, Kiss the Fae provides an interesting and unique representation of Faeries.

  1. The Fae are almost always vicious. Almost. Not talking LOTR. The outliers are there in books, but they are the easy “villains.” Time to approach them as a whole through a different lens?
