A to Z Blogging

Reading

The coffee is rich, the sofa is comfy, and my blanket is warm. Let’s read.

The solid weight of a thick book resting in my hand is a comforting presence. That unique book smell is faint as my eyes move over the inked letters on the pages. The pages themselves flip with ease allowing the narrative to flow uninterrupted. Each page feels smooth between my fingers and wrestles softly when I turn them. I can feel myself falling into the book. I don’t fight it. The world written between book covers becomes my world, my adventure. A story for me.

    1. April is a steady month for reading blogs. One of the reasons I enjoy A to Z is because I have found some wonderful new blogs to follow every year that I participate.

Raining, is it. We have a had the other day. It snowed for 24 hours, such silly weather for April.

  1. I’m looking forward to going home after a weekend of babysitting the grandchildren and reading my book. It’s Autumn and the temperature is dropping so it might even be time to to light the (gas) fire. Thanks for the image.
