Pre-Christmas Coffee

In that first deep inhale I catch notes that make me think of maraschino cherries that preserved and sweetened bright red cherry. However, it isn’t just any maraschino cherry. This is the chocolate covered maraschino cherry with the distinct scent of brandy flavoured liqueur. This coffee taste mimics that bitter chocolate with sweet alcohol and fruity flavour without that rewarding crack of the chocolate or the thick runny syrup. If we were having coffee I would thank you for indulging in a virtual chocolate cherry flavoured coffee with me this morning.

If we were having coffee I would share this image with you. This is my first 2000 piece puzzle and I am trying to have it done and cleaned up by Christmas Eve. My family doesn’t think it is a realistic goal which I of course see as a challenge. I will let you know how it goes.

If we were having coffee I would share with you that I upgraded my plan. That is as far as I have got with it. I haven’t looked at any of the recommendations yet. I am excited about it though.

If we were having coffee I would share the Jingles Marshmallow the scout elf has had a busy week. Perhaps even a few inappropriate events. Jingles Marshmallow decided to chew a small piece of the boys gum and if that wasn’t bad enough he swallowed it! So, this is the aftermath when a scout elf swallows his gum.

Your turn, here is the coffee pot.

  1. lol, glad you are having fun with the scout elf. I think I’d rather have the real chocolate covered maraschino cherry with brandy filling (yum), but am sure the coffee version is fine. Good luck with the puzzle. I guess part of it depends on when you started it – you do seem to have a good chunk completed. I really need to upgrade my plan! I think I will at the beginning of the year. Until I went in as a non-WP user, I didn’t realize how awful the ads were! Have a wonderful week and a very merry Christmas 🙂

  2. Hi Shari,

I had to do a double take at your puzzle. My wife and I, many many years ago bought a couple paintings we liked and one that hangs in our living room I thought at first was the picture from your puzzle, but on closer examination, it wasn’t. I want to share a photo of it because I think you might enjoy it. But hmm, I can’t see a way to attach a photo to a blog comment so I put together a quick page for you so you could enjoy it with me. If you like the photo from your puzzle I think you’ll love this painting by Harry Hargrove.

  3. Haha! That naughty elf chewing and swallowing that bubble gum! Oh dear, enjoyed that probably too much ~ thank you for sharing!! 🤣
And you go girl! You can do it! That’s CRAZY 2000 piece puzzle! I’ve never done one that big before. Hope you can get it completed by that date! Thanks for the interesting coffee and if I don’t have a chance to say it, I better say it here, Merry Christmas! Hope it is full and filled with joy! ❤️

    1. The elf certainly is amusing, hahaha.

This is my first 2000 piece puzzle. I like that it is taking a bit longer then the 1000 piece puzzles I have been doing. It is a nice change of pace.

Merry Christmas to you as well!
