The word “Umm” escapes me in the form of a relaxing sigh. That first sip of hot coffee washed over my taste buds and I am surprised by how much I needed to taste that bitter nectar. My whole self feels relaxed and happy that it is once again time for the Weekend Coffee Share.
If we were having coffee I would say “Indulge.” Now that we are all enjoying a coffee I would share a few G to L posts that I enjoyed this week:
- The Dream Girl Writes posted Food for letter F last Saturday and it was a fun read, I mean food need I say more.
- I followed The Multicolored Diary last year through the A to Z and enjoyed the folktale theme. This year is Fruit Folktales. Here is a link to letter G.
- Tale Spinning was another favourite that I came across in the 2018 A to Z and it ranks up in the top again this year with A Car in the Woods.
I could keep going but I will restrain for now and share a few others next week. Anyway, favourites that you would like to share?
If we were having coffee I would tell you that I made oatmeal buttermilk muffins this week and they were delicious.
If we were having coffee I would tell you that I still haven’t decided what book to place in my hand. I haven’t had a lot of time for reading this week anyway, perhaps next. I started the Insanity workout videos this week and I have been dragging myself from bed early to complete the video before work. By the time I put the kids to bed in the evening my eyes are too tired to focus on reading.
If we were having coffee I would tell you that the boys started ball hockey and soccer yesterday. Busy but fun. Sorry no pictures yet, maybe next week
If we were having coffee I would ask you how your week was?

I would never have guessed you enjoyed coffee so much 😉 The muffins look good! I hope you have a little more time for reading and have a great week coming up.

Well, in all honesty I typically only allow myself one cup a day. However, I really enjoy that cup, haha! Hope you have a great week as well.

Thank you for the compliment, Shari. Truly appreciate it.
Those muffins look amazing. Maybe that’s your AtoZ for next year: “Muffins I Have Loved.” 🙂
Now I’m hungry.
I’m glad we discovered each other’s blog last year.

Mmm. I am a coffee fiend. I try to limit myself to a pot a day. 😄 Hope you have a great week and manage to find a good read.

I’m with Colline. One can not have too many muffin recipes.
About other stories for your A to Z, oh I have too many but offer:
M: for Mannequin as in https://garyawilsonstories.wordpress.com/a-manic-mannequin-memory/
P: for Prom as in: https://garyawilsonstories.wordpress.com/the-prom-date-adventure/
S: for Scuba as in: https://garyawilsonstories.wordpress.com/learning-to-scuba/
Our kiddos are well past school sports ages now (mid 20s for all 3) but even back then, they were hard to keep interested in sports so we switched to (you’re going to love this) ball-room dancing (Yea – I doubted this one myself) and Competitive Speech and Debate. They all did great in both and I was amazed at the value we saw in both. I could go on and on about both but will leave you with how I had to eat all my words of warning how ballroom dancing was going to be DOA for the boys especially. My oldest and, in my mind, the least likely to like it, fell over on me after his first night trying it and ended up being that guy who worked extra hard to help the shy younger girls feel comfortable and safe in his arms.
What decent dad would not love a result like that?
I’ll bet your muffins tasted much better than my words predicting failure for ballroom dancing. . .
