Premonition
“It all began because mom was in the kitchen again. The rich smell of coco and nutmeg was slowly filling the house and that could only mean one thing.” Olivia swallowed like there was a lump in her throat. “I knew that she must have had a bad premonition, so I tapped into her thoughts without her feeling it because I had a bad feeling of my own.” She paused swallowing again. “Anyway, the flashes from her thoughts showed the bookstore, my croco, and Slayer the shade operative! That’s when I knew that I had been setup; they were coming.”
