Coffee without a share link—COFFEE 2024-4

Would you rather have a donut with your coffee or a slice of coffee cake?
Would you rather drink your coffee solo or with a friend?

If we were having coffee, I would share that I love coffee cake. Donuts are tasty, but I’d pick the cake. I would rather drink coffee with you, my virtual coffee-share friends.

If we were having coffee, I would share a picture of the puzzle I recently completed.

If we were having coffee, I would share that I don’t have a lot to tell this week. I’m feeling overly tired and wonder if I’m getting sick. I had an appointment earlier in the week and when the lady opened the door to let me in, the first thing I noticed was her bright red nose. She quickly assured me she had allergies, but now I’m not so sure. That said, I will drink hot water flavoured with honey, fresh ginger, and a splash of lemon juice once my coffee is gone.

  2. I also would rather have coffee cake and a friend to share with! My coffees are almost always solo (can’t share that with the kids yet 😂)

    I’m sorry you’re getting sick, my son brought home a bug from school so we are getting it now.
    Get some rest and feel better! And I can’t wait to get the chance to read your books!

    1. Hi Alexandra. It’s funny you should mention that kids because my ten-year-old tried his first coffee over the Christmas holidays. He was curious but isn’t a coffee drinker yet.

      You guys rest up too. It’s not fun feeling yucky.

    1. Yes, I enjoy our virtual coffee friends too.

      The puzzle was a fun one. I have another one ready to go, but I think I’m going to switch to a diamond puzzle (or maybe it’s called a painting). Happy Saturday, Trent.

  5. I love coffee cake! I just made one a few weeks back, but this week, I went to the farmer’s market and got a lovely raspberry cream cheese tart to have for my pastry.
