Coffee and resets

Welcome to the eleventh book review of fifty-three. As you know, I provide freelance book reviews to several review companies. It has been a great experience that has introduced me to new authors and their wonderful books. Each week this year, I’m opening my Weekend Coffee shares with a link to a review I’ve provided. Reviews are three stars or higher. The genres range from picture books to fiction and nonfiction titles.

If we were having coffee, I would share that I completed the 30 Days of Creativity Challenge. It was fun. Now, I’m back to my regular photo-of-the-day challenge, which I’m happy to announce is over 100 days now.

If we were having coffee, I would share that Women in Publishing was informative again this year. I’m happy that I took part. One thing I appreciate about the summit is the energy. If I’m feeling unmotivated, or the fingers of imposter syndrome are tickling me, or whatever, this summit helps get me back on track. With that in mind, I will share that I am in the formatting stages of my manuscript. I plan to format and then do a read-through before I reach out about a cover.

If we were having coffee, I would share that I have a girls’ night planned for Friday. So, on Friday afternoon, I have a book signing, and then I am meeting five friends for dinner. We are overnighting and going to a local psychic fair together. It’s going to be fun, and I need the reset.

Here is the coffee bean grinder, virtual friend. How was your week? Do you have any weekend plans?
