Let’s enjoy a magical coffee

Welcome to the ninth book review of fifty-three. As you know, I provide freelance book reviews to several review companies. It has been a great experience, introducing me to new authors and their wonderful books. Each week this year, I’m opening my Weekend Coffee shares with a link to a review I’ve provided. Reviews are three stars or higher. The genres range from picture books to fiction and nonfiction titles.

If we were having coffee, I would share that I attended The Edgar Cayce Spiritual Retreat last weekend. It was virtual. It was really interesting. Lots of information and guided meditation. Lots of talk about energy and manifestation. Speaking of energy, I’m registered to complete my Level 1 Reiki in April with Reiki Master Susan Rouse. It is Usui Reiki, which is the original system of Reiki. It’s rooted in Japanese tradition and channels the universal life force energy. I’m excited about learning.

If we were having coffee, I would share that I created an Instagram page for my tarot and other spiritual adventures. Please follow me at CinnamonCauldron_TimelessTarot. I’ve created a blog category to post in (first post), and I plan to add a page as well with my training and additional details.

If we were having coffee, I would share that I’m starting my final edits on my manuscript next week. My anticipated release date is in the fall. Other updates? I haven’t been puzzling. My 3000-piece puzzle is sitting, waiting for me. Art class is going well, but I feel like I need more drawing time before I dig into creating my tarot. My weekend highlight is that my youngest son and I have a lunch date and a visit to the crystal store planned.

Here is the coffee bean grinder. How was your week? Please leave a link to your coffee share in the comment section below.

  1. Tell us more about the art class! Is it online?
My week is great. My daughter had a week off from school, I’ve been working, but we enjoyed more fun outings compared to a regular week.

    1. It’s wonderful to hear that your week was great, Maria. I will pop over to your blog and see if you shared more there in a gratitude post or a coffee share.

As for art class, it’s illustration. It is online through George Brown College. We just finished week seven, and it runs until the end of March. It’s been a lot of fun. I’m considering researching an online cartooning class next.

      Happy Saturday.
