Book 12 of 13 in the Bookstore Café Mysteries. Given the title, I’m thinking this might be a good Christmas-season read. There are over forty reviews on Goodreads. You can check them out here: reviews.

If we were having coffee, I would share a picture of one puzzle I was gifted for my birthday earlier this month. It’s called “Merry Mushroom Cottage.”

If we were having coffee, I would share that I had a great time at my author signing last weekend. I spoke to many lovely people. I celebrated the end of the event by buying myself a new book (Thursday Murder Club) and a new coffee mug, which I’m holding in the picture below. The idea of being “lost in the pages” suggests both reading and writing, and I love that. The image itself makes me think of Shel Silverstein’s book, Where the Sidewalk Ends.

If we were having coffee, I completed my mystery writing course. I now hold a certificate for the same.

If we were having coffee, I would give a shout-out to our very own virtual coffee friend, Melissa. Last week in her coffee share, she discussed the tarot classes she was taking and was kind enough to share the link. I’m now enrolled in a class by Ethony Dawn, through Tarot Readers Academy. Thank you, Melissa.

Well, friend, here is the coffee bean grinder. How was your week?

Happy Halloween!

  1. I am so happy to hear you had a great time at the author signing! I am also impressed on how many murder mysteries in/around/having to do with coffee you’ve been able to find and showcase this year. They all sound like fun reads.

Thank you for the mention here. Sharing our worlds can create such lovely and surprising connections and I so love that about this space and finding kindred spirits. I’m glad we found each other.

    1. Our blogging world really is a wonderful community to be a part of. I had my pencil crayons out when I journaled the other day; it adds layers to the experience. I look forward to hearing about your tarot journey, Melissa.
