This book appealed to me because of the title. Many years ago, I wrote a short story with a similar title. Mine was called Coffee Shop Girls. So, when I saw this book, I had to see what the story was about.

If we were having coffee, I would share what I have been reading. I read books 1 and 2 of Haunted Canada. Have you read any of the series? I enjoyed Book 2 a bit more because the subtitles provided a town and province where the story occurred. I re-read a few R. L. Stine books. Currently, I’m reading Lemon Meringue Pie Murder by Joanne Fluke. I have one hundred pages left. I added a new title to my Goodreads “Want to Read” category: The Baby Dragon Café. What are you reading?
If we were having coffee, I would share that I’ve visited with some family, gone paddle-boarding and swimming, taken some walks, and I’m refinishing a couple of old dressers. I have had many things to be thankful for this week.
If we were having coffee, I would share a picture that I took on my front porch.

I love the view from your front porch!
Are you on vacation? I am. I am currently reading a Swedish book that is strange in a good way, about a man that faked his own death. At least I think he did. it is not obvious but implied. I’ve only read a little more than 100 pages out of 453. We’ll see, so far so good. The author’s name is Kristina Appelqvist.

Stories about a faked death can be very interesting. I looked Kristina Appelqvist up on Amazon. This author has a few titles. Happy reading, Maria.

What a lovely front porch photo! I’ve always wanted to try paddle boarding but have yet to make that a reality. I just stared the second book in the Vera Wong series today and am already enjoying it!

I had to look that series up. Is the author Jesse O Sutanto? They look like interesting books.
Happy Saturday, Joanne.
