If we were having coffee, I would share two pictures of things I finished: a puzzle and my quilt.

If we were having coffee, I would share that The Funny Side became available for purchase on May 8. I’m excited to hear what readers think.
If we were having coffee, I would share a writing update. World-building is finished and the magic system is all set up. I completed research on what is required to be a private investigator. Although some research is required to clarify a few details, I picked the book’s first crime. I have named my protagonist and antagonist. Now I am starting their character profiles. After that, I need to name and complete profiles for a few other characters before the writing can start.
If we were having coffee, I would share that the Fantasy Writing course I am taking is going well. I’m planning on taking a couple of their other writing courses in the fall.
Well, virtual coffee friend, here is the coffee bean grinder. How was your week? There is no Weekend Coffee Share linkup this week. Please leave me the link to your coffee post so I can return your visit.

Ah, a book about my stomping grounds, Cape Cod… Glad writing stuff is all going good. I should take a few classes, but never seem to have the time.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

What is this “time” thing you speak of? Haha. I know what you mean, life is busy. This course works for my schedule because the homework is worldbuilding for the manuscript I’m working on so I didn’t have to cut anything out of my schedule to fit it in.
I hope you have a great weekend too, Trent.

Yay for finishing your puzzle and your quilt! And yay for a good writing course!
My big thing this coming week is that I graduate with my doctorate on Friday. Preparations aren’t going as well as I would like, and it’s very stressful, but it will all be okay in the end!
