Things that I am thankful for as a writer:

The blank page:
What?
Why?
The possibilities are endless. I start each day with fresh and new. I can create what I want every day, from worlds to characters, creatures, adventures, and so on.
Love of books:
“Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are.” – Mason Cooley
Freedom:
There is freedom in writing that has many layers.
Personal growth:
Writing has helped me grow as a person, a mother, a writer, an editor . . . It is a craft where I am always learning, exploring, and connecting.
What things are you thankful for as a writer?

I wrote this post for letter G of the 2025 A-to-Z blog challenge.

OK, this may seem silly, but I’m grateful to live in a time of abundant office supplies 🙂 Really. I have no want for paper or pens or pencils or post it notes or journals! A rare gift in comparison to all those who wrote before us and one I do not take for granted!

Melissa, I love office supplies. I don’t think that is a silly thing to be grateful for at all. I share that gratitude.
Thanks for the link.
