This book is about writing, coffee, and murder mystery with a splash of romance. The main character isn’t a writer, but she attends a writer’s group after receiving an invitation. The group’s response to her saying that she doesn’t write is funny. They’re scandalized by her statement, perhaps more than by the possible murder.

Series readers, there are thirteen books in the Bookstore Café Mysteries.

If we were having coffee, I would share that I am reading another book toward the fifty-two. Then I’m reading something different because I need a break from my themed reading. For that book, I’m trying to read my first book by Patricia Briggs. It’s called Moon Called. What are you reading?

If we were having coffee, I would share a picture of my silly dog. Riggs finds new ways to keep me on my toes. He’s full of attitude and character.

This Sunday, I’m trying a new Crockpot recipe, “Pirate Stew.” I’m looking forward to this new Sunday tradition and a new recipe. I will let you know how it turns out. Do you have any Crockpot recipes you’d recommend?

    1. Thank you. I can’t recall its name, sorry. We were lucky to get it because it was almost out of stock; there was just enough to finish our house. We really liked the airy feel the colour has.

  5. I’m reading Camera Shy by Kay Cove. Oh my goodness it’s so good I can’t put it down! I’ll probably go back to the Anita Blake series after my short hiatus. It is good to switch it up sometimes!
