Coffee before Christmas—COFFEE 2024-51

Would you rather ask silly coffee questions or answer them? **This has been a long string of me asking would you rather question. So, I would rather take a break from asking and answer some silly questions.
Would you rather read the novel The Various Flavours of Coffee by Anthony Capella or Death by Coffee written by Alex Erickson? **I’ve read both.

If we were having coffee, I would ask if you are ready for the holidays. It’s hard to believe that Christmas is a few days. December has been a busy and fast month. We’re ready. I have to grab a fruit tray on the 23rd or 24th, but other than that, we are ready for the holidays.

If we were having coffee, I would share a picture of my boxers.

If we were having coffee, I would share that I am expecting to have some voice actresses to listen to within the next week for my Vizard audiobook. I’m looking forward to it. It’s going to be fun. I have some other bookish news to share. I got my manuscript evaluation back for my nonfiction book. Lots of good stuff in it. Interestingly, the editor presented me with an alternate way to present the material, so I have a bit to think about before I move to the next steps with this manuscript. This means that world-building is going on the back burner for a while again. One project at a time.

If we were having coffee, I would share a picture of the glitter edition puzzle I finished. It was a hard one, but worth the challenge.

Well, virtual coffee friend, here is the coffee pot. How was your week?

  1. Your dogs certainly don’t look stressed over all the holiday preparations. Wish we could be like them! The puzzle looks beautiful 🙂 Have a great Christmas. 🙂

    1. This picture captures a moment of good behaviour. Typically, Rigg—the brindle boxer—is sticking his head in the tree, chewing the branches, and banging into it, which spins it around. He’s only one, so he’s still figuring a few things out.

      Happy holidays, Marsha.

  2. That’s a cute photo of your dogs together. You did great completing that challenging puzzle. I’ll be hosting a link-up on Dec. 27. If you’re available, feel free to join in. Happy Christmas to you and your family.

  3. That’s very exciting that you’re listening to voice actors! Amazing!

I think I’m more ready for our Christmas celebration than I’ve ever been (and it’s in about 40 hours). I’m just crossing my fingers for no more illness. I had covid for Christmas last year and my husband got sick last week, but thankfully he’s well again. I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop and just hoping that it doesn’t!

    1. Being sick over the holidays is not ideal. It’s good that your husband is feeling better. All our COVID learning has helped us stay healthy when someone else in our house gets the sick; I’m sure no “other shoe” will drop.

Thanks for stopping in, Jayden. Happy holidays.

  4. The brindle reminds me of Fiyero 🙂 It is a very cool looking puzzle. Have fun auditioning the voice talents for your book.

Enjoy your week and have a wonderful week ahead! And a Merry Christmas 🙂
