Would you rather leave Santa espresso chocolate chip cookies or white chocolate mocha cake? **This is Santa we are talking about. So, I would rather leave him espresso chocolate chip cookies.Would you rather create a new coffee creamer or a new coffee syrup? *I would rather create a new coffee creamer. I used to love putting French vanilla creamer in my coffee. Syrups aren’t something I’ve ever stocked in my house. I have had them in my coffee when I go out, but not at home.

If we were having coffee, I would share a writing update first. My nonfiction manuscript is with my editor for evaluation. I’m eager to hear the editor’s thoughts. My other big writing update is about Vizard. There is going to be an audiobook version. The manuscript is with my audiobook team for the first stages of that process. This is my first audiobook, so I’m excited to learn about the process.

If we were having coffee, I would share a picture of a craft my older son and I worked on together. It’s a lazy Susan we hadn’t used in a while, so we repurposed it into a Christmas decoration. We also did some baking. It’s lemon squares with meringue, but I wanted it to be Grinch-coloured. It was a hit.

If we were having coffee, I would share that we have two house-elves. Here are a couple of pictures of their antics.

  4. Good luck with the audiobook – I am sure the process is fascinating.

    I am odd but I think adding any flavor to coffee ruins it, so I will not be the one to invent a new flavored creamer nor a new syrup. Espresso chocolate chip cookies sound great 🙂

      My preference is black coffee, but I don’t mind making it fancy every once in a while. I think espresso chocolate chip cookies dipped in a hot black coffee sound even better Haha.
