Would you rather have an enchanted coffee mug or an enchanted coffeemaker? *I love this idea. Although having both an enchanted mug and an enchanted coffeemaker would be handy, I pick the mug. I have this vision of a cute mug with enormous eyes, speedy limbs, and a humorous disposition.
Would you rather read or write while drinking your coffee? *I often drink coffee while doing both activities, but I find coffee and reading to be relaxing, and less likely for my coffee to go cold.

If we were having coffee, I would update you on my ice cream challenge. I have only tried two new flavours since we had our last virtual coffee date: Tiger Tail and Butterscotch Ripple. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavour of tiger tail. It has a black licorice taste.

If we were having coffee, I would confess that I haven’t worked on any of my writing projects in a few weeks. They are on my mind but haven’t been taking priority. That said, I am setting up my first author signing with my local bookstore. I’m nervous and excited about it.

If we were having coffee, I would share that after some lengthy delays, the floor for my house has been poured and the framing has started. We picked our windows and exterior doors. I never thought I would be so excited to shop for doors. We also picked our fireplace insert. The lady at the fireplace store was a wealth of information—burning wood is a fine science. So, because we want to heat our home with wood, she directed us to a high-efficient closed-in fireplace place.
