Coffee that screams 1980s—Coffee Share 24-18

Would you rather drink coffee or tea?
Would you rather drink coffee in a space colony or an underwater colony?

I would rather drink coffee, but I enjoy a nice cup of herbal tea once in a while. And I would rather drink my coffee in an underwater colony. I’m a fan of movies like The Meg, where they are in an underwater space with windows to see out of.

If we were having coffee, I would share a picture of my newest favourite coffee mug. Yes, it screams 1980s. I love it. I’m halfway through my 1980s TV puzzle, too. Maybe by next weekend, I will have a picture to share of it, but it depends on the week.

If we were having coffee, I would share that there is only a bit of time left to download your free copy of A Prick of Magic. So, if you haven’t got your copy yet, you can do so here: FREE SHORT STORY.

If we were having coffee, I would share that I only need two more titles and my To-Be Read list will be complete. I’m going to wait to fill those spots because a few titles on my list are the first in the series, so the second in the series might be worth the read and fit the theme I’m pulling from—coffee, puzzles, and books.

So, virtual friend, here is the coffee pot. Please, tell me, how was your week?

  1. For a second, I thought you meant that you would have *read* all the books on your To Be Read pile, but then I realized what you meant, haha!

I prefer tea (I actually don’t like coffee at all), and I would love to be in an underwater colony. I love The Meg! Also, I’m so desperate for a mug of tea, but my kitchen is being painted right now, so I have to wait. (1st world problems for sure!)

  2. In the mornings I do prefer coffee, but tea is wonderful later in the day. To drink coffee in a space colony or an underwater colony sounds equally scary!! I’;d choose under water, if it’s not to far away from the surface. I kind of like having my feet on the ground :)Thanks for the coffee!

    1. I agree both of those locations can be a bit intense. I heard a couple “would you rather questions” on the radio this week. I liked them because the answers were equally tough. There were three:

      1. Would you rather encounter an Alberta grizzly bear or a lion in Affrica?
      2. Would you rather be in the water for 30 seconds with a great white shark or a saltwater crocidile?
      3. Would you rather sleep in the bedroom knowing there is a venomous snake on the floor or with two large non-venomous spiders in the bed?

      Happy Sunday, Maria.
