Welcome to the letter W of the 2024 A-to-Z blog challenge.

I took this quote from the Amazon description. It says,
“Relax from your busy life and build a beautiful image and a new memory.”
The reason I selected this puzzle for my collection is right there in the title—World of Books. This jigsaw is a Ravensburger 2000-piece beauty. It is a busy image; there’s so much to see, which is part of what makes it fun.
Of note, there’s a Ravensburger animal puzzle that is similar. It’s called Wild Kingdom Shelves Puzzle, and it’s also an Aimee Stewart. I haven’t completed this jigsaw, but the image is lovely.
The Amazon product description says, “Since 1891 we’ve been making the finest puzzles in Ravensburg, Germany. It’s our attention to detail which makes Ravensburger the world’s greatest puzzle brand. We use an exclusively developed, extra-thick cardboard and combine this with our fine, linen-structured paper to create a glare-free puzzle image for a quality you can feel. Our steel cutting tools are designed and crafted by hand. This ensures that no two pieces are alike and guarantees a perfect interlocking fit.”

I consider myself a bibliophile but that puzzle would do my head in – it’s so busy. Perhaps it’s easier to solve because of the range of colours.

There is lots to see, which is one of the things that I think makes it fun. Busy yes, but still fun. Each time I look it over I see something I hadn’t noticed the time before.
