Welcome to the letter H of the 2024 A-to-Z blog challenge.

This is a holographic puzzle called “Above the Clouds.” It was the first puzzle in my puzzle collection. It’s one thousand pieces and its dimensions are twenty inches by twenty-seven inches. The artist of this puzzle is Circo Marchetti. The puzzle box refers to this puzzle and the other in the series as “. . . richly detailed images that conjure up retro-tech worlds of fantasy and imagination.” (2012, LPF Ltd)
“Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope.” – Dr Seuss

So how do you save the puzzles? Do you glue them or just donate them back? Just curious. Here is my link for today. http://specialmomsblog.mom/2024/04/09/highways-hershey-and-houston/

This was one of my first puzzles and I’ve had it for about a decade. I love the image.
Thanks for stopping in and thanks for the link.

Wow. That is an absolutely stunning picture. I bet you enjoyed doing this puzzle. I love doing puzzles, but I can only do them during vacations, because I seriously won’t go to bed or even consider working or anything else, other than breathing, until the puzzle is done. A terrible addiction, though enjoyable, that I first realized the seriousness of back in college. My husband bought me a puzzle to enjoy during a break. I was very grade conscientious, and yet I could not pull myself away from the puzzle to do homework. I had to skip sleep, finish the puzzle, and then get to my homework. And I seriously tried to stop. But it was always that thing , you know– I’ll quit after the next piece…
