Would you rather drink your coffee in a new mug or your old favourite mug? **I love using my favourite mug—okay, mugs—I have a couple.
Would you rather drink your Java in the forest or beside a lake? **This is a hard question. I love sitting outside by the campfire in the summer, sipping my morning coffee, and listening to the birds in the trees. But, I also love sitting down by the lake watching the morning sun glisten on the water while I sip my java. Since I have to pick just one answer, I pick drinking my coffee by the lake.
If we were having coffee, I would share that A-to-Z is in full swing. You can catch my letter A here if you are curious.
If we were having coffee, I would share that the cover reveal for From the Ashes happens tomorrow. A post will be going up in the morning.

If we were having coffee, I would share a few pictures from our spring break. We went to Mexico. Our first trip since before COVID. The whole family needed a break and we had a great time. My father-in-law also travelled and we met up at the resort.

That sounds like a lovely trip! My mother in law often travels with us and it’s been fun including her in so many of our family vacations.

How lovely, Shari. I could use a trip to sunny Mexico right about now. Our skies are threatening either rain or snow. Vince saw snow flurries. Yikes! The hot coffee looks yummy. 🙂 Have a great week.

It was a vacation we needed. The weather was lovely the whole week and we returned to snow. The coffee was delicious. The photograph of the lady in the white shirt is also a coffee picture—flaming coffee. Unfortunately, the flames didn’t show up in the picture. I can’t remember all the ingredients, but to get the flames alcohol is included.
Happy Saturday, Marsha.

I stick with tea, but I love drinking from my spill-proof mugs that stay warm for hours. Otherwise, I tend to forget I have a hot drink and it’s cold by the time I remember.

I don’t often drink from anything but a regular coffee mug, but you make an excellent point about using spill-proof mugs. I also forget about my hot drink and have to either finish it cold or pop it in the microwave.
How is A-to-Z going?

I’m clumsy so I like my spill proof mug. 🙂
A to Z is going well, though I haven’t written anything for next week yet! How about you?

A-to-Z is going well. I had to play catch-up with comments, but I’m on schedule now.

I definitely haven’t commented as much as I would like, but I am hosting a big event in two weeks, so that’s taking a lot of my focus!

I’m sure your trip to Mexico was wonderful Shari. If I was going to share my favourite coffee and place it would be just an ordinary latte sittin by the lake with my partner and my dog. Bliss!

Jennifer, your coffee scenario—favourite mug, by the lake, with your partner and dog—sounds wonderful.

How fun!! The giveaway is exciting too! As for the “would you rather” questions, I think….id stick with my favorite mug (I can’t resist a new one though if it’s nice! 😂) and this might be cheating, but I’d drink my coffee in the forest and by a lake! 🙃 my aunt used to take my brother and I camping at a specific spot in the woods over looking a small lake/pond. Some of my favorite memories there (and spooky memories)

Alexandra, the combination of lake and forest would be an amazing place to sip coffee. Add a book to the scenario and it would be perfect.

Favourite mug, and by the lake for sure! I love the forest, but if I had to choose it would be next to a lake with the forest in the background. Luckily for me I can choose that 🙂 Have a fabulous weekend!

Looks like a great vacation. Where did you go? Cancun is a destination on my bucket list. But not any time soon.

It was a lovely vacation. We were in the Mayan Riviera. We flew into Cancun and then had a bit of a bus ride to get to our resort.
