Coffee—It’s a puzzle.

Welcome to the letter C of the 2024 A-to-Z blog challenge.

Jigsaw puzzles have been around since the mid-1700s. Puzzle use includes education and entertainment. Do you find puzzles frustrating, satisfying, or perhaps a mix of both? For me, a puzzle can be a mix of both, but I love the challenge of completing them.

This puzzle is called “Coffee.” It’s a thousand-piece Eurographics puzzle. This puzzle comes with recipes for the coffees captured in the image. I have completed this jigsaw twice and enjoyed it both times.

“When you have that last piece of the jigsaw, everything will, I hope, be clear…”
– Albus Dumbledore (J. K. Rowling)

  1. I think this would be a satisfying jigsaw to do. When my husband was recovering from an operation 15 years ago he didn’t sleep much at night. A relative sent a jigsaw of US movie and TV characters. For the first time since he was a kid he started working on it. He didn’t stop until it was finished. During the Covid lockdowns I posted it to my daughter. Soon all her family were working on it. Jigsaws are very therapeutic.

  2. We hadn’t done jigsaws for years but find them a pleasant activity to do with the grandchildren. I cheekily seek out ones, like maps, that have a potential to educate as well as challenge.

    1. I completed a map puzzle a while ago; it was a Lord of the Rings map though. There is a world map puzzle that I’ve looked at a few times, but I haven’t added it to my collection yet.

    1. Surprisingly, it isn’t as challenging as it may appear. That said, I have completed it more than once and don’t recall my thoughts on that first completion. Thanks for visiting, Jennifer.
