What’s your answer? COFFEE 2024-12

Would you rather your first name be Mocha or Espresso? **I pick Mocha for a name, although I like both.
Would you rather use coffee grounds as an abrasive cleaning agent or as a garden fertilizer? **Garden fertilizer. This question reminds me of the worm compost I had years ago because I composted the coffee grounds and filters.

If we were having coffee, I would share with you that my older boy and I went to the high school open house earlier this week. I can’t believe how much school has changed. I’m glad we went because I would have been lost trying to help him pick courses to reach the graduation path that he wanted.

If we were having coffee, I would that we have snow again. It’s just a few centimetres, and the temperature is back in the minus. The snow is welcome thought because we need the moisture; fire season started early.

  1. I choose Mocha for a name & to use used coffee grounds as fertilizer. When I go back to school for Grand’s events & activities, the smell is the same & brings back memories of the days when I was school age.

    1. Thank you, Alexandra. It was this book cover that made me realize I needed to recreate my other covers so that the series looks unified.

      Coffee grounds for fertilizer seem to be a common answer so far.

I like Mocha as a name better, but it seems female, so maybe not (I have met at least 4 female dogs named “Mocha”). I do use my grounds as compost, so… Snow here as well, but we don’t need it as much as you! They are getting 45cm up north, which would be great on the fires… Glad the school visit was successful. have a great week and enjoy what ever you are doing that will take you away next weekend!

    1. It is funny that you should mention that, Trent, because I came up with the prompt after friends named their puppy Mocha. Haha. I follow a boxer lovers page on Facebook and there was a post with a black boxer and they were asking for name suggestions. I recommended Espresso.
