“‘Bean Water’” – Cal from Legends & Lattes

I read the cozy fantasy novel Legends & Lattes in August. As some of you know, I’m drawn to most things’ coffee and the cover and title of this book drew me in. I started my mornings sipping coffee and flipping pages. It’s a great read, if you are looking for your next book.

If we were having coffee, I would sit staring at the steam rising from my mug and wonder what could I share? It really was un uneventful week, which I needed. The weather was decent, but smoky.

If we were having coffee, I would share that it’s Friday night movie night and we are watching an oldie. This movie was a 1997 release. We are planning to watch “Anaconda,” which has Jennifer Lopez and Ice Cube acting in it. As the name suggests, it is about a very large snake terrorizing filmmakers on the Amazon River. This is different from the titles we normally watch. For example, last Friday’s viewing was of the new “Sonic” movie.

If we were having coffee, I would share that I put out a business post on Wednesday this week called: Evolve. I didn’t get much other writing completed. I finished reading “The Recovery Agent” by Janet Evanovich. It was good. I haven’t started reading anything else yet.

  1. It’s been a week! A very long week. But it’s over! Thank goodness! Now for a very rainy weekend. We’ll see it brings, but hopefully productivity as my to do list grows ever longer…

    1. Haha, perhaps not. We sat and watched it last night expecting it to be cheesy and we weren’t disappointed. We enjoyed it though; we don’t watch movies like that often. Next week I think we are planning on watching “The Secrets of Dumbledore.”
