I started blogging as Writing Sparkle in 2015, which eventually morphed into the imprint I self-publish under. A blogger turned into a published author. Self-publishing has been an amazing learning journey, and I have loved it every step of the way. The book world is such an enthusiastic place to learn and grow. It’s supportive and full of amazing people. It’s the book world that made me realize I want to help other writers find this magic world and become a part of it too. Last week I hit ‘publish’ on my first Writing Sparkle Book business post: Inception. I felt like I hit publish on my life; it was such a big moment, a big step. Whether making a change by jumping in with both feet or making a gradual transition, it’s scary either way. However, the feeling of excitement and exhilaration that accompanies me on each step of my new career lets me know that I’m on the right path.
