A few summer coffees in August were “Sundae” Brand coffees, Dulce De Leche flavoured. I sat sipping and listening to the loon call, while watching the sun sparkle on the water. My book sat on my lap, not forgotten but temporarily abandon. I enjoyed the beauty of the morning.
Do you have a favourite summer coffee?
If we were having coffee, I would share that I’m trying to decide between starting a puzzle or a quilting project. I have patches cut for two and a half quilt projects. That said, I might hold off on both because the weather has been unseasonably warm here.
If we were having coffee, I would share the link with you to my new LinkedIn business page. Followers are welcome. Writing Sparkle Books. The other thing in relation to that is that I put out my first business blog post. It’s a short read. If you are interested you can view it here: Inception.

As a coffee and book lover the name of your blog caught my attention. I don’t have a favorite coffee since I enjoy them all. Hot or iced, black or flavored with syrup or cream, it is all delicious.

Hi Julie, thanks for stopping in. I’m a book and coffee lover as well. I usually drink my coffee block nowadays, but on occasion, I like a fancy coffee. It’s pumpkin spice season so there are a few of those in my future.

Flavoured and specialty coffees can be tricky depending on how sweet you like your drinks. There are some tasty ones out there; I hope you find a few you enjoy. Thanks for the support, Astrid. Happy Sunday.

Hi Shari,
With only a couple of exceptions, I’ve had pretty good people to work for. One guy almost drove me out of the company because we simply could not talk, ever without him starting an argument. He did drive all the women out of our group and once they were gone he started on the rest of us. I was ready to leave too when he was reorged out of my life.
These people can ruin your work life.

It’s sad because work can be enjoyable without the toxicity. Work is a necessity, but a poisonous work place is not. Thanks for stopping in, Gary. I hope you’re having a nice weekend.

I love loons. My grandmother collected loon figurines as long as I can remember. I inherited them when she passed, and I am looking forward to having a place to display them when I move in ~6 months.
