Confetti Cupcake Tea

Have we talked about confetti cupcake tea? It’s from David’s Tea. In the mug it doesn’t appear to gave a notable colour, but it has an evident sheen of white film coating its surface. Yuck! That doesn’t sound good, right? It has a soft sweet smell with an almost apple odour. The taste is mild and relaxing. It’s a great cup of tea for relaxing. But what made me want to talk about this tea with you today is the loose leaf. Wow, is it fun to look at with its coloured sprinkles: baby blue, lime green, soft purples, oranges, and white. There are off-white chocolate chips and various shades of brown dried fruits. Looking at the loose leaf gives me a happy feeling.

If we were having coffee, I would share with you that I bought a pair of roller skates. Some of you may recall me mentioning that I wanted to get a pair as a replacement for the running I miss. Well, I bought them. I put them on and remembered that I haven’t used roller skates in thirty years. It’s coming back to me though. I haven’t gone around the neighbourhood yet. Just practicing around the house. I would like to get a better handle on stopping and turning then the headphones are going on and I’m heading out for a long roll.

If we were having coffee, I would share that one of my freelance reviews in live. If you are curious this is the link, Night of the Burning Car.

If we were having coffee, I would share that we got a decent amount of rain but it came with an air quality warning from the smoke. Heading into the weekend, I’m not sure what to expect. Will we be indoors watching movies and playing board games or will be able to get outside?

Well, here is the virtual coffee pot. How was your week?

  2. That’s an interesting tea with the confetti. I remember getting my 1st pair of roller skates as a girl/teen. My friend lived behind the public library that had a paved parking lot. We skated there in the evenings after the library was closed. Good memories!

    1. It’s funny because I remember going to a roller rink once as a kid. They had it set in dim light with like a strobe light going and they were playing great 80’s music. It’s one of my favourite memories. Thanks for stopping in, Karen. Hope you’re having a great week.
