A side note about reading, writing, and me. Before becoming a published author, I was aware of reviews in books and would sometime read them, but I never understood their true importance. When I opened the cover of H is for Homicide the first thing I noted were the 12 reviews and thought “Wow, twelve reviews! That’s wonderful.” I have a new appreciation of reviews, and I also enjoy noting who the source is.

H is for Homicide is a good read. The pace and tone are great and the plot keeps a reader turning the pages. Kinsey Millhone sure finds herself in some interesting situations and through it all, she remains strong and resourceful. Sue Grafton has created some interesting characters for this letter of the alphabet: Raymond, Bibianna, Jimmy, and Luis. Overall, H is for Homicide presents a great cast of characters and an interesting story with a satisfying conclusion.
