Coffee and Camping Season

Ah, here we are and it is June 1, 2019 already. Camping season is upon us and in light of that June’s theme is, you guessed it, camping. Camping and coffee makes me think of these mugs that I have wanted to purchase the last couple of camping seasons. They are a steel construction with a blue enamel coating that is speckled with white. The mug itself isn’t huge. I’d call it cute sized (which probably isn’t an overly helpful description). Anyway, something about these mugs when I see them makes me smile and crave coffee and camping!

If we were having coffee I would tell you that I have started my planting of seeds and seedling. I took the boys to the flower shop with me last weekend to pick some flowers for my front flower pots and they did a really good job with the colours.

If we were having coffee I would tell you that I put The Wheel of Time series on pause and I picked up a copy of Brene Brown’s Rising Strong. I am not far enough into the read yet to say much more. The image below is taken from the book though. I think it is going to be a very positive and inspiring read.

If we were having coffee I would tell you that the weather has been nice hear finally. We have been trying to make the most of it: gardening, walking, family soccer, water guns and sprinkler.

  1. I’ve just come from almost summer in Japan to first day of winter in Australia. It’s hard to get my head around hiking in the alps two days ago to sitting by the fire at home now. We flew in this morning, caught the train home and I made coffee. Now for bed and sleep.

  2. Coffee and camping, can it be better? I doubt it. I’m on a road trip, and I actually picked up a new coffee cup yesterday. I’m very much a minimalist, but those few special things that are connected to good memories means so much more then. Have a fabulous day!
