Have you ever wondered what lives in potential darkness or obscurity?
Shadow–The rays of light don’t reach into this space. It’s cooler in these spots of darkness. Screened from direct sunlight when a body comes between the rays of light and a surface creates a shape or shapes. A shadow image. Controlled by light, a shadow lengthens and moves with the rising and setting of the sun. Sunlight, firelight, or electric light it can cast a shadow just the same.
There is opportunity in the shadows to lie in wait, to hide. Are there monsters in the shadows?

shadows conceal but not entirely – love where your flash fiction takes the mind.
