Pie Flavoured Coffee Series: Coffee 4

Is a cobbler a branch on the pie-family tree? Shoulder shrug. For the purpose of my Pie Flavoured Coffee Series I am including this fruity dessert here.

The exotic smell of blueberry fills the kitchen. Its sweet and fruity odour is the dominant sniff in this coffee. There is no sweetness in the flavour. It is a smooth sip that is slightly bitter and leaves a floral taste on the palate. How does your coffee taste this morning?

If we were having coffee, I would share some literature updates with you. I have taken a break from reading The Shannara Series again and I am reading R. A. Salvatore for the first time. I am on book 2 of The Coven Series, it is called “Reckoning of Fallen Gods.” I devoured book 1 and so far I have no complaints about book 2. Book 3 is sitting in my to be read pile. That said, can you recommend what to read by R. A. Salvatore next? In line with literature updates, I started watching The Wheel of Time Series season one. I had read the Robert Jordan series a while ago and really liked. So, far I am enjoying the TV series as well. What is happening in your world of literature?

My review of “Child of a Mad God” can be found: here.

If we were having coffee, I would ask you if you need a refill before you share the news from your week?

  1. So what do you get if you combine, fruit, sugar, cinnamon all wrapped in a soft flaky pie crust? By some magic, it always fills the room with the best tasting air and destroys almost any diet. If vaporized on the eddies of fresh coffee. umm — my mouth is already watering.

Hi Shari. I survived my big quarterly project and one long customer escalation last week and am anxious to pick up — I think I’m at chapter 5 of, Ember Stone. I hope all is well with you. I should have some more feedback for you before the end of the weekend.

    1. Blueberry pie is such a wonderful smell.

Glad to hear that you survived the big project. I was wondering how it was going for you this week. I will probably drop you an email at some point to let you know how I did with the first round of feedback (which was wonderfully helpful by the way). Thanks Gary, going to pop over your way and see if you made a virtual coffee post of your own…
